Hi Ladies! I've been trying for almost a year... I was wondering if any of you were trying then all of a sudden your AF just decides not to come back (for 5 months...) I'm not pregnant, the doc has ran tests, no PCOS, Hormone levels are off... SOO she put me on birth control.... AF is suppose to be here in the next few days! Anyone else had this weird sitution?!?!? I'm not liking it lol

I'm sorry that you're in that weird situation... I have been so regular with my AF so I have no idea what could be going on with you. I hope you get some answers soon though!

Welcome to our group though... I'm Cris married to Shawn and we've been ttc our first for nearly 3 years. These ladies are a wonderful support system and I hope you don't have to stick around too long!

oh hun, i'm sorry you are going through this. the stress isn't good for you and all this does is create stress. I have not been through something like that, but if your hormones are off, that could be the cause of it. I'm no expert, but when hormone levels are whacky, AF does strange things. What does your Dr. think about it? I hope someone else might be able to help you here.

Welcome to our group we are very happy to have you!!!!!

i have heard of chasteberry its supposed to help regulate hormones. I take it in the form of raspberry leaf tea. it has done wonders for balancing out my hormones. I have cup in the morning and a cup in the evening. but make sure its rasp. LEAF, not just plain raspberry tea. Vitex is also a good supplement of chasteberry to help regulate hormones. I hope AF shows for you hun!!! keep us posted!

Welcome! I'm Jes, and DH and I have been ttc#1 for 9 months. Nice to have you here, but I definitely hope your stay is short.
Hormones being out of whack is so frustrating. I'm sorry I can't offer any insight, but I just wanted to say hi and I hope that you find some answers soon!

Welcome to the group... it just sounds like your body has gone through an annovulatory cycle and AF doesn't know when to come back.. Some of us, from time to time, end up with a never ending cycle. Most doctors, after making sure you aren't pregnant, prescribe Provera to bring back a period and a lot of times that jump starts your cycles. It did in my case for a few months anyway.

Our TTC journey: 6 cycles Clomid, lap surgery/ D&C, IUI, 2 x IVF; 33 cycles- BFN.
IVF#1 (March 2010) Transferred two 8-cell grade A (perfect) embies- BFN and heartbroken.

IVF#2/FET#1 (Jan/Feb 2011):Transferred two (7&8 cell) grade A (PERFECT) embies- BFN again.
March 2011- February 2012: On BCP due to endometriosis.

March 2012- taking a few months off of BCP and we are TTC naturally.
We will re-evaluate another IVF w/FET try in 2013.
