First U/S today...pregnancy mentioned

Hey ladies,

Today was our first U/S at 5w2ds to verify the pregnancy was interuterine and not ectopic and to date our LO. Well, everything is GREAT! We have ONE perfect little baby. I am 5 weeks 2 days today based on conception (we did FET), but our LO was measuring a day ahead at 5 weeks 3 days. Still no heartbeat that they could detect, which they said is normal??? I will go back next week for another U/S to hear the heartbeat. Then I go every 2 weeks after that until I am 12 weeks. I am praying for a heartbeat next week since it will be our anniversary that day!! Anyways, so all in all it sounds like things are great.

Just curisous how early have you heard the heartbeat?

the heartbeat doesnt start beating until right around 6 weeks, so that is completely normal - sounds great

I saw Anas HB at 5w6d, I was bleeding a bit and has a vaginal U/S. They picked it up straightaway.
I had a quick U/S at DH work last week at 5w4days and they couldnt find it yet. But he said it depends on lots of things.

Sounds like everything is great and I�m glad I know someone in the DDC!.

my u/s at 5 wk 5 days was just a sac, but when I went back 4 weeks later at 9 wks 3 days we had a heartbeat. For some people 6 weeks is still a little early to hear it.
