your mom... (share a funny story if you have one too)

my mom died when i was very young from emphasemia. she was a strong and funny woman and i miss her very very much! sometimes it's scary how much like her I find myself to be!!

my funny story is when it was summer and i was out playing with my friends, i came home and my mom was standing on the couch singing and dancing to the video Grease! the volume was turned up so loud. she was completely shocked when she saw me standing and watching her. we both laughed so hard!

I don't have funny stories about my mom - sad huh?

She was a single mom, worked nights, slept days and when I was around 9 I got her up at 10pm to go to work and then slept in her bed. My gram or sister got me up for school, mom would drive by me waiting for the bus coming home and gram would watch me till I woke mom up. Fun life huh? That was the way it was till I was 12 and then we moved/moms hours changed and her BF moved in with us. Then things got even less fun.

My mom rocks! I love her so much and she is one of my best friends. We are eerily alike (which can be a scary thing) and I'm really proud of the lady she is. If I can be half the mother that she is, my kids will be lucky!

Funny story? Oh I have tons... I seriously can't just pick one! LOL
