Ok...so I went to the ER first thing Friday morning because I woke up with blood in my underwear and when I went to the bathroom there was more. They checked my cervix and took my blood. Cervix was closed and HCG levels were still rising. They put me on bedrest for the weekend and told me to come back Monday to get my levels checked. They told me I could be miscarrying, but they didnt know since none of the signs other than the blood were there. Well, I called my RE and they reassured me that things were prolly ok since I hadnt had any bleeding since and had no cramps and my levels going up were a good thing.
So, since then I have had only old blood when I wipe, which I am guessing is normal since I did bleed. And I have had a few cramps but they were very mild and I think mainly because I am constipated. So...being stuck in this limbo sucks!!! Did I miscarry? If not, what the hell happened? OMG!!
Thanks for the vent ladies...I am just so confused...any thoughts?

I had spotting at 5 weeks. Was very scary! If you are constipated maybe you are pushing too hard and caused your self to bleed a little. Ask your OB about a stool softener.

Good Luck - I hope it stops and your numbers keep going up. I think you are probably okay though.

Thanks Christina! I had the one instance of blood and have had NOTHING since. I did have some old blood, but nothing new and its all gone now. I had little to no cramps and actually felt pretty good. I have my appointment Wed. to verify everything is ok, but my RE is reassured that everything is probably ok.

And thanks for the idea about the stool softener. I have heard some prenatals have that so I may have to ask my Dr. about it.
