I've never had my own garage sale, but I've helped out at my parents and in-laws and some friends. It's such a fun atmosphere in one respect, but in another respect, there can be some "interesting" people who come you're way!!! LOL

I never do garage sales. I usually sell a few things on craigslist and then bring the rest to goodwill.

We don't usually do them, but my IL's were going to participate in their neighborhood garage sale this year and so DH and I put a bunch of stuff in there. What didn't sell we delivered to Goodwill.

We live out in the country where no one would come so I use CL and Ebay Got one of my purses on ebay right now matter of fact!

We have done them two times because our neighborhood puts them together! So a lot of people come by. I actually am very anti keeping anything we don't need so really there isn't a lot of stuff we get rid of when the time comes to do them. But it is nice to clean out!
