Hi everybody!! I have been reading these post's for quite some time and thought I would join. I am 29 years old (Just turned 29 yesterday) and my husband is 33. I have a son, who is 5, from previous relationship. My husband has no biological children. He and I have been TTC since October 2008. My OB/GYN wanted to put me on Clomid several months ago, but I said no. I wanted to do some research on it first, as I didn't know much about it. I have recently decided however, that is an option I am open to. I'm in the process now of making an appointment to talk about clomid and DH is going to have another analysis done. I guess I should've just done it months ago, maybe we would have our baby by now? Anyway - that's a little bit about myself. Good luck to all of you. I hope all your "baby dreams" come true soon!!!

Thank you! I started reading these posts about a year or so ago. Just out of curiousity. But, at that time, I was very go-with-the-flow about everything. I wasn't stressin about it. I Just figured it will happen when it happens. Well, that was almost two years ago. I just turned 29 yesterday, and I don't want to be pregnant after the age of 30. I will. I would just prefer not to. I had a difficult time with my son because I have a bad heart, and the older I get the harder it will be to maintain a healthy pregnancy and/or survive the stress of birth. I guess what I'm trying to say is; I'm getting nervous. With my b-day just passing I think I'm realizing that I don't have all the time in the world. I'm sorry. I guess I needed to vent to somebody who understands what it's like to want a baby so bad, and continually be disappointed. Time and time again. Thanks for listening.

I can COMPLETELY understand what you're saying!! My 29th birthday will be next month and I'm already dreading being in the countdown to 30. It's like you have this "vision" growing up about the age you want to be when you have your kids, etc., and then this darn TTC journey keeps skewing it! I never in a million years thought that I wouldn't be a Mommy by the time I'm 30! I know it could be worse, but it's one of those dream-dashers, ya know??

I took clomid and was successful in getting pregnant, but unfortunately, i've had 4 miscarriages. don't be afraid of the clomid, it can really help! I hope it gives you a bfp! if you have any questions about it, just ask away. i'm a clomid veteran! best of luck!!

Welcome! I'm sorry it's been a hard road and totally understand. I was one of those girls who thought it would happen the first month (HA!!) so I thought for sure I would have a baby by my 31st birthday. Well that birthday is coming up on Wednesday and I was wrong! I hope you get a BFP soon. Maybe clomid is all you need!

Welcome! I'm sorry that you're struggling with ttc, but I hope that the Clomid is all you'll need for that beautiful BFP!
I hear ya on the 30 thing.... I just turned 30 a few months ago and when I was younger, I insisted that I wouldn't have kids after age 30.... Guess I should have not said that, cause here I am still ttc #1... Oh well, Maybe it's God's way of teaching me to live and let go! IDK, but welcome! I hope you find as much support here as I have over the years!

You guys are great!!! Thanks so much for the support. I should be ovulating any day now. My husband and I are going to try AGAIN this month, then go to the doctor next month if I don't get a bfp. And now, on top of everything else, my dad's cancer may be back. He had cancer before and had half his right lung removed. Right after his surgery I got pregnant with my son. I remember the day I told him I was pregnant, he said, "That's great sis. Now I have a reason, something to fight for." I will never forget that. And now, I'm SOOO afraid he won't get to see my second baby because I can't get pregnant. *sigh*. I really don't whine and complain all the time, I promise. lol. Thanks for listening, and thanks again for the support. I'll let ya know about the clomid, and if I have any questions. (I'm sure I will....lol).
