when you start a thread and you see that 50 people have read your post and only 5 have responded to it?

it doesn't bother me if it's just a fun thread, but if it's me being emotional, i find it hard to understand why people just don't give a hug if nothing else. I wondered if anyone else felt the same way?

Yes, it bothers me. Alot of times I'm lucky to get even 5 responses, though....I would feel special if I got that!

Yeah, sometimes. In cases where I am one of those 50 it is because I get distracted or I don't know what to say at the time and I come back as one of the 5 responses. I do that a lot.

Sometimes it does, sometimes not.. if it's emotional or asking for a simple opinion on an OPK or HPT then yes it bothers me... but if it's a general fun question then no..

I have had posts were I have about 20 views but 0 responds to my question.
Does not feel nice.. does not encourage you to continue asking for support and getting support on the site.

As a host of a loss board, it bugs me more to see other members posts get a lot of views and not a lot of replies more than it bugs me to see it on my own thread.

I do that alot too, especially if i dont know what to say. i almost always remember to come back and reply tho.

It doesnt really bother me when people read and dont reply, cos i just always assume people dont have anything to share!

I wonder if sometimes our grads are popping in to check on us and see how we're doing. A lot of times they won't want to reply, but want to know what's going on with us. Could that be part of it, IDK?

I know sometimes I'm super busy and only have time to read the posts and I don't want to put a thoughtless reply down, so I wait until I have a few seconds to sit and type something more thoughtful.
