Hi ladies
In the last few cycles I have noticed that BD is actually a little painful during O-time - my pelvis just feels so full, and TMI.... but it feels like he's hitting up against something. It's a dull kind of pain, and usually goes away after I get more into it.. anyone else feel like this? It's kind of counterproductive to reproduction lol..

omg i was gonna post this today too!!! I ovulated on wed, and BDing on wed and last night was a bit painful, like dh was hitting something. I was thinking it was my cervix, but that gets higher at ovulation, not lower.

Have no answers, but will be watching this topic closely!!!

I have it happen occasionally but I've always chalked it up to just a fluke thing. I know that painful BD is a symptom of endo, but I think that's more along the lines of all cycle long.

I'm really not sure- maybe it's just the shifting of our cervix or something.

Our TTC journey: 6 cycles Clomid, lap surgery/ D&C, IUI, 2 x IVF; 33 cycles- BFN.
IVF#1 (March 2010) Transferred two 8-cell grade A (perfect) embies- BFN and heartbroken.

IVF#2/FET#1 (Jan/Feb 2011):Transferred two (7&8 cell) grade A (PERFECT) embies- BFN again.
March 2011- February 2012: On BCP due to endometriosis.

March 2012- taking a few months off of BCP and we are TTC naturally.
We will re-evaluate another IVF w/FET try in 2013.

I'm glad I'm not alone - well I wish this didn't happen to any of us, but at least I know I'm not a freak, kwim?
I really hope it's not endo - I thought about that too, but it really only happens around ovulation. I might have already ovulated when we BDd so maybe it's fluid from the release of the egg? Or maybe the corpus luteum just makes everything a little crowded down there? I don't know, just wish it didn't happen.. in any case it does go away once I'm into it.

WOW. I thought it was just me also. It hasn't happened often, but it has happened a few times, maybe 3 or 4 since DH and I have been together. My husband said he had never been with a woman that "it" happened to before, so I really thought it was just me. I don't know why either. I thought maybe it was endo as well. I am SOOOO glad I now know it is NOT just me!! =). Like Mom2J said, I will be watching this topic closely!!

I get this very often too! Especially last cycle, my first Clomid cycle, it hurt the worst. I guess because I had a gazillion big huge eggies!

I have only had this happen once after I had my trigger shot with my 1st clomid cycle. Not sure why it happens though.
