Mine is actually from when we were TTC #1 (which took about 6 months). I've had plenty while TTC #2, but this still takes the cake.

My cousin was teasing me about when DH and a I were going to have a baby. We'd been married for about 5 months at the time. I told her we weren't preventing, and it wasn't like we didn't want one, it just hadn't happened yet. She seemed totally shocked.

"You aren't trying not to?!?! Wow, you must not be very fertile or you'd be pregnant by now. I got pregnant with all of my kids the first time we tried!" (she'd had 3 kids and one miscarriage at the time)

Gee thanks. THAT made me feel a lot better.

Uggh that sucks guys..
The last one I got was from my dad's colleague.. I ran into her and she asked whether I'm pregnant yet. I said no and she said my dad's driving her crazy and he needs a distraction (as in a grandchild) so we should get on top of that..

I had one yesterday! My brother's wife's father came to pick up my brother's kids at my mom's house while I was there yesterday... (wow that's tough to figure out what relation he is to me, eh?) As they were both tugging at his shirt and wanting to go to his house and eat ice cream, etc.. (ie- hyper), he said "You guys should have a few of these by now-- what's the holdup?!"

My mom has also said "You're trying too hard..." to which I responded... "I guess I'll just have less sex then. That must be the secret!"

My brother (who swore he would never have kids and then ended up with two surprise babies while his wife was on the pill) said "Just take birth control, get drunk, and do it. That's what we did both times."

*sigh*

I wouldn't say that this is the most inappropriate, but it's certainly the most annoying... DH's cousin is one of the very few people who know and while she's been super supportive, she's always telling me to just "relax, not think about it and it'll happen."

Sheesh! After the mc, we didn't think about it for like 6 months yet still BDed A LOT and we got nothing. It may have worked for her, but I need MA to apparently get pregnant.

'I've heard so many inappropriate comments it's hard to say, lol. I think the one that irritated me the most was probably when my cousin asked me if I was pregnant yet, obviously I said, "No, not yet, but we're still trying it will happen eventually." You know, trying to be optimistic (after two years of ttc, being optimistic is a feat in and of itself). So she then asked me if DH had a SA yet. I said No, not yet, he's going to. She said "He must not have any sperm or they're 'retarded' and don't know what to do." Seriously? Why would anybody in their right mind say that?? I mean really? Wow. Some people!!

My in-laws keep hinting at other people that had their 1st child the same time as me and are already pregnant with their 2nd. I haven't told them anything about TTC#2, but anytime I am not feeling well they start asking if I am pregnant.

Just today at lunch a good friend (who got preggo as an "oops" while travelling to see her BF once a month & swore she would NEVER have kids) told me today, "I think you should go see a different RE" after I shared how flippin excited I am, that we have decided to try IUI. Apparently she thinks she knows my RE better than me, whatever........I was ready to reach across the table & smack her

The absolute worst for me was, "How old are you? (Im 39) she laughed and said "Oh yeah picture the graduation, people will be saying How nice the grandparents came". If JM didnt block out certain words, Id tell you exactly what I think of her!
