i forgot to post that i was going to be gone. my sister graduated from vet school so me and ashton headed back to kansas for a few days.

anyway...

i had my obgyn appt today!!! i love my obgyn. she is a really nice lady. she said that we can approach this in one of two ways. we could focus right now on getting my periods regular which would mean i would go on birth control for a few months and see if that would work. there was no guarantee it would work. or i could focus on getting pregnant. she said it is possible that having another baby would regulate my periods back out. sometimes that happens. i picked to go ahead with trying to get pregnant because i figured if having a baby didnt regulate my periods i could try the birth control then.

so...

i'm really excited. tomorrow morning i am picking up a perscription for some prenatal vitamins and some other antibiotic that i cant remember the name. i picked up a sterile cup for dh's sperm analysis. (he is being really funny about it. i dont know if the job is going to get done. he keeps giggling about it) she said if i do not have my period by may 30 to call her and she would call in a perscription of paxil and give me a referral to have a dye test done to see if my tubes are open. i had a pelvic ultrasound today...it was at least 45 minutes. i forgot to have my bladder full so i had to sit in the waiting room and down 32 ounces of water. i nearly threw up. the ultrasound tech said she thought everything looked great but who knows. anywho...the doc said that since i'm young they dont like to do any extensive fertility treatments which i dont really want to do. she said that if my dye test comes back normal as well as dh's sperm analyasis she will probably put me on clomid. she said it takes depo sometimes 2 years to ware off but since i am at the 2 year mark it is pushing it to blame the depo

i am so thrilled. i finally feel like i'm being heard. a doctor finally listened to me!!! my appointment lasted an hour....i've never had a doctor spend that much time talking to me about this stuff. she took time to explain stuff.
