Hi!
My body changed a bit when I went off the pill - it makes sense, hormones have such a huge impact on our systems.
The most noticable thing I found was that I get sore nipples around ovulation time. Also, the first few AFs after going off really threw me for a loop.. I found myself getting dizzy during AF. Maybe it was the loss of more blood than usual.
Anyhow, I did get pregnant in March 2010. At 6 DPO I felt butterflies in my stomach. It wasn't full on nausea but I felt more anxious than usual. Then at 8 DPO my left boob started to hurt, and DH told me my boobs were bigger. I only got my BFP at 10DPO though so the symptoms came before the BFP. I lost that pregnancy and after that I thought left boob pain was definitely a pregnancy symptom for me. BUT last cycle I also had the same boob pain towards the end of my TWW so I thought I was pregnant again but it was a BFN.
And I feel the same left boob pain now.. so maybe it's not a pregnancy symptom after all, just some other hormonal thing and it might have been a coincidence that I had it on my BFP cycle too.
I DO get all kinds of false symptoms every cycle, but I guess that's because PMS and pregnancy symptoms are so similar.
Re I didn't know I was pregnant - I can see how it might happen especially when women aren't trying to get pregnant so they're not watching for it. Most of the women on that show have irregular cycles to begin with (ie long irregular cycles), and some of them were larger women too. So I can see how they can miss the signs.
Also, from what I remember some of them did test at home for pregnancy but got false negatives..
I hope you get your BFP soon hon!!
xoxo
The human body is such a mystery sometimes!
