Hi ladies!
I was just wondering about your opinions on the clearblue fertility monitor while charting.
Me and dh have been ttc number 2 for 11 cycles now, and have been charting for 9. I am looking at a CB monitor for a very reasonable price on ebay, but i'm not sure if it would tell me anything i dont already know from my charts. out of 9 charts, only one had a different ovulation day. So between that being fairly consistant and regular OPK, i'm not sure if it would be a waste of money.
Any opinions would be greatly appreciated!

I've heard good things about it, but for my situation it wouldn't be worth it. I'm like you, OPKs work very well for me and I can confirm from my charts that timing is not an issue for us. (We do know what the issue is...MFI). So anyway, I think the Clearblue Monitor is probably really helpful for people who has crazy cycles or for whom OPKs aren't accurate. I'm not sure if you would gain a lot of valuable information from it, kwim?

Looks like you already have your answer. I am amazed at all the gadgets that are out there. Every time I read about how people got pregnant within one cycle of using a gadget I always starting thinking that the gadget would be my answer. But I haven't purchased any gadgets yet.

I use the clearblue easy monitor and love it. The last few months my ovulation day has been jumping all over the place and without the monitor I probably wouldn't catch it. I don't do any temping though, just the monitor so I'm happy with it.
I've been using it for about 6 or 7 months with no BFP but we have some male fertility issues to deal with too. The monitor makes it nice because I know exactly when to do the deed and I don't have to stress my husband out making him perform every night!

I am a first timer with the monitor. This is my 1st cycle... got my first HIGH reading today CD11. I'm so excited.... now onto plenty of BDing.
I have heard alot of good things about the monitor! I used to chart, but too worried about getting up or forgetting to take it....

i LOVED my monitor. It tells you when you are close to Oing by giving you a high reading and then it tells you when you are going to O by giving you an egg symbol. I loved it. But you are right to purchase it on ebay. they can be very expensive. I will tell you, if it makes a difference, I sold mine on ebay for a little more than I purchased it for, so you won't LOSE money on it!!!! didn't really cost me a thing except sticks, which i got on ebay too. they hold their value if you keep the box and manuals.

I sure hope that they work as well as I'm reading.
I hope to catch this eggie this month, since last month I was just going on a whim and I think we missed the egg.

I wanted to let you know that I have a cbefm and the first one I bought was defective. This one seems ok, a few discrempencies but I know of few people in the last month who had O confirmed with OPK's yet their monitor never read high or peak, just stayed on low. But I know lots and lots of women who swear by it. I think with all you are doing already, its not going to tell you more than you already know!
