Hello everyone!

I have been posting in the "trying to conceive" forum for a while - and now I'm here.

DH and I have been trying for 6 cycles to get pregnant with #2. Our first daughter was born in 2000, and we conceived on month #1.

I went to the Dr. last week with all of my charts, and it turns out that we have been miscalculating our BD sessions. Apparently I have been ovulating 4 days before when I thought I had - I guess I need more practice with these charts and coverlines!

I just wanted to introduce myself - I'm Alex by the way! (from Ontario, Canada), and let everyone know that I understand what you're going through.............

P.S. We're all preggo until proved otherwise!!!

Hi and welcome to the 6 month + board - sorry you had to come over here, but I am glad you decided to join us. The ladies here are great and it is a great place to come and get support from those who understand what it is like when TTCing goes longer than you had hoped.

Sounds like you got some answers as to what might be the problem - which will bring you a big step closer to that BFP. If you use FF, feel free to post your charts and ask questions - me and many of the other ladies love to stalk them and we always available to help you interpret them.

Yes, I use Fertilty Friend (I charted my temps back in January and again this month), but I have no idea how to post them? If I just copy and paste the link, won't it require you to login under my name???

If you explain how, I will definately post my chart - I can use all the advise I can get!

Thanks everyone for your warm welcome!

Alex

I posted this in Lovin' Teachn's post, but I will paste it here as well:

Quote:
There are a few of ways to put a link to your chart in you siggie:

1) Ticker method
Pretty simple to do. Go to FF and on the lefthand side you'll see a menu - from that menu select:
Sharing>> Tickers
Click on "Customize your Charting Ticker"
Follow the steps and when you get to the end it will give various codes to copy - copy the one that is for message boards called bbcode (the first one) and paste into your siggie.

2)Pasting Your Home Page Link
Very simple to do. Go to FF and again go to sharing under the lefthand menu select:
Home Page Set Up
Customize your page to show what you would like to show (which charts, how much data on each, etc..)
At the top of the page you will see:
"Your Charting Home Page Web Address" - copy this URL and then you can either paste it directly into your signature or you can click on the "Insert Link" option in the text editor and type text to say what you want like - My FF Chart or Stalk my Chart Here, etc....

3) Use a Chart Blinkie like I have
This can get a little more tricky - you need to basically get your homepage URL (see #2) and link code it with the image you are using - here's what mine looks like:

Code:
[/b]

Whoa - so much to learn!!!

Thank you so much for taking the time to explain this all to me!!

I followed your steps to set up a ticker. I think I have done it correctly now - but it doesn't appear to have a link to my chart. When I run my mouse over my ticker, it doesn't seem to be a link. Hmmmm.

Can you try it and let me know if it links you to my chart?

If not, perhaps I will need to follow your directions for another method! lol

You did it correctly, but I forgot sometimes when it pastes over it puts spaces within the code - you need to delete them and then the link should be OK.

Okay, checked and double checked - there are no spaces...................and it's still not working. Should I try to paste it again?

I've also been trying to add some blinkies - but my computer won't let me save them as .gif files, and then villagephotos.com won't recognize them!! Ahhhhh.

I need to concentrate on mastering one skill at a time here!!!

You are being soo very helpful, and I truly do appreciate it!

Alex
