I used to workout 3-4 times a week. Then I started ttc and toned it down a bit and I have to say I'm not liking the number on my scale. Is it ok to workout while ttc? I usually do the eliptical (is that high or low impact?) and lift weights. Are those ok to do? I know the lifting weights I would definately have to stop once I found out I was pregnant but can I do them until I am pregnant? I plan on asking this when I go to see the specialist in 2 weeks. I just don't like the fact that I have put on a few pounds and its not because I'm pregnant!!!

all excercise is perfectly fine while ttc, and most is fine while pregnant unless you are told otherwise (if you have cervical issues, are bleeding, blood pressure etc). the benefits of exercise are just so great on the body. when you exercise it gets your blood flowing better, including the blood to your uterus, making it better, stronger and healthier. plus it keeps you at a healthy weight, balances hormone leves and just makes you feel good! so exercising while ttc can boost your chances! i think you should go back to what you were doing before ttc.
work it girl!

Yes! If you're in shape now, labor will be easier, your body will be healthier while you carry, and it'll be easier for you to lose weight/get back in shape after you deliver! I'm not amazing at working out, but I do at least do mild cardio on the elliptical a couple times a week.
And I always tell people I'm practicing eating for two
