I see some people are drinking lemon water and different types of tea. What do these do for you when ttc and which is best? I would like to try something new and different this cycle....how often do you have to drink it?

i know there is one with lemon water and geritol, but i dont know the ins and outs about it. you could google that one if no one here has any info.

this cycle i took red raspberry leaf tea to strengthen my uterus and build better lining. you drink 1-3 cups a day from af to O, then you stop cos it can cause uterine contractions, which hinders implantation. I actually really like the taste of this, and will be using it again next cycle of i dont get my bfp.

Green tea has conflicting info, some says its great for building cervical mucous, but others say it causes infertility. not sure which is true, but just in case, i dont drink it!

not sure of any other types! hope that helps a bit tho!

I also drink Raspberry Leaf Tea! I looove it in the evenings. It's got a very soothing and refreshing taste, but I also sweeten it a tiny bit. I buy the Kava brand.

Speaking of green tea, I agee, there are conflicting ideas. The one scary thing for me is that it interferes with the absorbtion of folic acid. BUT when we were ntnp, I wasnt aware of that, I found out once I got preg and stopped drinking it. BuT .. we have been actively trying since my loss in Feb and we have had no luck, so Im wondering if the green tea actually did help? So for the past 2 weeks, Ive upped my intake of folic acid, take it at night so that it has all night to work its magic, and allow myself a cup of green tea in the morning. Hopefully it evens out. And also there is no note of how much green tea would be cause for worry, I would think it would have to be more than a cup?

Yes, raspberry leaf tea is great! It strengthens your uterus but like someone mentioned, only drink it up until O.
Green tea is supposed to be fine as long as you don't take it within a few hours of your prenatal because it will interfere with absorption of folic acid.
Lemon water is really good in general. It helps to keep your body alkaline (acidic foods turn alkaline in your body and vice versa) and is a good body tonic.
