Good Morning Ladies - and Gentlemen (if there are any on here) - don't want to discriminate!
I have a question regarding timing BD sessions around O.
I'm temping this month, and DH and I are sticking to an every other day BD routine. It worked out to be ODD days that we BD. I took my temp this morining - still no spike. If I see a spike tomorrow morning, and I BD late tomorrow night (DH is on afternoons) will it be too late (will I possibly miss the egg)?? I know that the little swimmers can survive up to 72 hours in an optimal environment, and I think that I have up to 24 after ovulation to fertilize - I'm just not sure.
I have been charting my CM for the past 6 months, but this month got tricky. In the previous months, we used the CM to tell us when to BD - apparently it didn't work all that well!!
This month I am trying to keep track, however I'm not sure if I am checking my own CM or sperm from a previous BD session - sorry if TMI.
Any guidance on the "missing the egg" question would be great.
Does anyone else still chart CM while BDing frequently? Is there a way to tell the difference??
Thanks a million,
Alex
