So I did it. I went to the shower. I was proud of myself that I actually went since I thought about NOT going all morning. It really wasn't bad at all. And it wasn't as sad as I thought it was going to be for me, which is a good thing. But I have to tell you I was almost appalled at the shower. The women hosting the shower did not do anything to greet the guests or even thank them for coming....and the mom to be and her fiance did not even thank guests after opening all the gifts or anything!!! Are you kidding me?!?!?!? Sooooo RUDE!!!!!! If you remember from before I posted that this baby was a TOTAL shock, unplanned and the mom to be cried for days after she found out she was pregnant. She barely socialized with anyone today and her fiance sat like a lump on a log during the whole thing!!!! COULD NOT BELIEVE IT!!!!!!

Yay for you doing so well at the shower! I'm really glad that you did great! That does seem really rude that no one thanked the guests at all. Weird.... Maybe they're still in that shock mode?!?! I would be pissed if i went through the trouble of buying a gift and going to the shower to only be treated like that.

why did these people bother having a shower at all if they were just going to sulk? people took the time and money to go buy them a gift and they werent even grateful? pfft.
