So we took the plunge. And I went to the doctor this morning, had an ultra sound, and then she gave me a prescription for Clomid. I got it filled, and will be taking it tonight before bed. She also gave me a 'script for Ovidrel. It will be arriving on Saturday. I go back next Friday for another ultra sound. I am officially using assistance. Here is to lucky number #8!! This will be our 8th month of trying!! This is it, I can feel it!!!

What does Ovidrel do? I have my first appt on Friday, and I'm trying to figure out what to expect. I ovulate regularly and have a nive long LP... so I don't know what kind of meds they might suggest.

Ovirel is HcG. It will give the LH an extra push so it will surge! I ovulate erratically and my LP can be erratic. My Dr. thinks I may only ovulate 3-4 times a year. She did say that my uterus is good, and my ovaries and eggs look good and its hopefully not a matter of IF I can get pregnant, but when. Here's hoping month 8 is our month!!

Oh, awesome! That's such great news that you were able to get in now. I was blown away that they let me come in on friday, because it's our 8th month, too! I'm nervous, but excited to feel like I'm being proactive. I'm excited for you and I hope this is your month, too! Work meds, work!

yay!! good luck with the clomid. i hope it's nicer to you (side effectswise) than it was to me. i love that you are positive about it!! can't wait to see your bfp!
