I have lurked here a bit but finally decided to post Some of you know me from the other boards but for those that don't, I'm Raquel, 27, DH Mel, 31, married for almost 7yrs and we are trying for baby #4.

We unexpectedly got pregnant last year with our son Aries, it was a huge suprise seeing as we were done with our three. DH got a vasectomy in July after a scare we had and were told that my placenta was torn but they were confident that we would carry full term. In Sept over Labor day weekend I didn't feel the baby move I was 24wks, I went in Tues only to have our worst nightmare confirmed that our little boy had passed away due to placenta abruption. I delivered him later that afternoon and weeks after we talked to our doctor about our options. DH didn't want to hear of using donor sperm and doing IUI and IVF was out of our budget and so was sperm retrevial We decided a reversal was our best option. He had it done in November and we were both given the green light in December to start trying.


So now we are on cycle #7 of trying I never thought TTC would be this hard. I have had anovulatory cycles, I have had a LPD and cysts on my ovaries. We have done two rounds of clomid 50mg and prometruim, and did 100mg of Clomid this cycle with IUI. I actually just had to procedure done this morning so now we are just hoping and praying it worked.

Hi Raquel - I am sorry for your loss and that you find yourself on the 6 month + board, but I am glad you decided to join us and say hi!!!!! I am 38 years old and we have been TTC our first for a little over a year now. I am currently on my 2nd cycle of Clomid (first cycle at 100 mg) and am 1 DPO today - really hoping we caught the eggie and hopefully we'll join the Feb DDC together!!!! Good luck and lots of

Hi there!! I'm Alex. I am 28 and TTC #2 for 6 months now. My DH and I are also a little overwhelmed at this process since our first DD was so easy to conceive.

Hi, Raquel. I don't know if you remember me, but I know you from the Loss board. I'm so sorry that you've had to keep trying for so long, but am glad to know that you DO keep trying!!!

The women here are spectacular and I know that you won't find a better place to find support, encouragement, and a few laughs along the way!!!

Hi Raquel and welcome to the board. I am sorry to hear about your loss and the trouble you are having TTC. Most of us on this particular board can relate to you in some way or another. DH and I have been TTC our first for 9 months now. We have had nothing happen so far. My cycles are in check, I seem to be ovulating, etc, etc but I can't get any testing done for another three months. DH went ahead and made an appt with an urologist for a S/A in June so hopefully we can get some answers and maybe a bit of piece of mind then. Good luck to you and I hope that your stay is short so you can move onto a DDC.
