Hey, all. I just received a call from Sandy that she is rushing Jessie to the emergency for a bad cut on her foot. It seems to encompass 2 or 3 toes. She is unable to see how deep the cuts are because of the blood. Jessie is very upset and scared. Please say a prayer that she is all right.

Jessie went to her Friends after school today and was playing in the pool when she stepped out of the pool she stepped on something and cut her foot. She called me on the radio and was screaming and crying telling me she was bleeding to death. I rushed to her friends house and as I was walking up the steps you could see pools of blood when she had gone up the steps!!! I got her in the truck and rushed her to the ER and they said that she needed 6 stiches and Jessie was so scared she cried and screamed that she did not want stiches so I talked them into using the glue and doing it that way. They said that she has to stay off of it for a week because if it bust open then it will be to late to stich it up. My poor baby what a way to start her summer vacation!!
Thanks everyone she in finally in bed getting waited on hand and foot.

Poor Jessie!!! I had a similar experience at about her age. I was in a friend's basement, walking in sandals. I felt nothing. I walked up the stairs, across their nice, fluffy, white carpet, then passed out. I had slashed the top of my foot, right at the bend, and was bleeding profusely. I'm not afraid of needles, but the second the doc told me that I had to have the shot *IN* my cut, I thought I'd die. I actually hyperventilated and had to be treated for that as well. Hehehe. My poor mom and friend's mom!
I hope that she heals VERY quickly and that she enjoys being waited on in the meantime!!! (Take advantage of it, Jessie!)
