So I had my HSG on Thursday morning and I had the usual spotting like they said I would throughout the day. Friday night I went to the bathroom and noticed I had RED bleeding, practically the same as my normal period and I totally freaked. I looked at my discharge instructions and it said for abnormal bleeding to call and so I did. The nurse assured me that bleeding is normal because they are manipulating things down there--sure would have been nice if they told me that! Well this am (Sat) I woke up and things seemed to have almost stopped. But I had to work at the office this morning (I am a nurse) and before I knew it I was having the flow again! I have taken it easy the rest of today and I will tomorrow also. Did this happen to you after your HSG? How long does it last? Should I call my doc on Monday if I'm still bleeding? I need to get this to stop this coming week is our BD week!!!

Have you had any more bleeding? I wouldn't know what to suggest other than calling your Dr if you still are. Maybe you're just one of those few who have more bleeding than normal? IDK... Hopefully it's gone though so you can get to BDing!!!

The RED has since stopped, just brown spotting now, thank god. I did call this morning and they said it was normal and to call if it goes past a week. I think I'm almost in the clear and can't wait to BD!!!

Well at least they said it was normal and I'm really glad that it's slowing down! Whoo hoo for being able to BD! LOL
