I have found a board that I belong on-----

here s a lil about me--- my name is misty --- i am a mom to 3 kids....... and we have been TTC the last child before my health fails me any further----

I found out recently that I have diabeties and neuropathy...... I was diagnosed with kidney failure on the rt kidney.......

I have talked to my dr and told him of our wishes to have a baby before I get any sicker.... he understands and is ok with that----we have been trying for the last 2 yrs with no luck---- grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr we just keep having miscarriages or a tubal happened once........

I have tried the OPK and that was like talking to my kid......... didnt work.........i want to try cycling--- anyone with any ideas??? PLEASE do not think i have lost my mind.............

Welcome to JM and TTC 6+ months. I am so sorry to hear what all you have been going threw that really sounds scary! I have had a M/C and I know how hard that is but I can't imagine having more than one. I hope that you get your BFP and it is a sticky bean!

Sorry to hear all that you have gone through. I know how you feel about that need to try for one more.

I have 3 girls now and my Angelboy who has been gone almost 16 years. I too have had a tubal pregnancy. I am 40 and have been told that I only have a little bit longer for trying for a last child. I am currently on Clomid...today I start round 5....UGH! We've been trying for 21 cycles with no luck.

I chart my temp on Fertility Friend....been charting off and on for over 15 years...I really like FF. I also take B-6 supposed to help with LPs. I am starting to use a fertility monitor and strips this cycle. I have used just plain OPKs that were okay.

I'm sorry to hear about your health issues, but glad that your doctor seems supportive of what you want.

Please feel free to ask any questions, I use OPK's, chart my temps, and a whole list of other things I can't think of right now.

Hi and to the boards. I am sorry for your health problems - my DH is also diabetic (Type 2). I have never been pregnant, so I have never experienced what you have, but I understand feeling like time is against you: I am 38 years old and feel like time is not on my side.

I am currently on Clomid, chart, use a monitor and OPK's. I think you need to find what works for you - what helps some, is very stressful for others. I have never had a problem with OPK's, but I know some ladies who have found the digital ones worked for them (took the guess work out of it). Good luck and feel free to ask any questions.

Hi, Misty. Welcome to the board. Wow! I am sorry about your illness, but I am know exactly how you feel. I am 45, DH is 32 and we are ttc #1 for a year. On top of trying to defeat my age, I am battling PCOS, hypothyroidism, high blood pressure, narcolepsy, seizures, anemia, and bipolar. A lot of meds here! (But I feel that all my problems stem from the narcolepsy)

Yet, I am still trying, refusing to give up. I hope you get a quick BFP and defeat the odds. Sending you ton of prayers and wishes. Good luck.

Welcome, Misty! And congrats on TTCing! I've been told since I was a teen that I would never even get pregnant. As it turns out, it's more holding onto the pregnancy that's the issue...also trying to sort through medical issues that hinder the process or halt it altogether once it's underway. With a good doc, though, who is aware of your situation, who knows???

I used OPKs, charted, and just paid attention to my body. But I've had practice since my teen years, thanks to my wacky repro system and other health problems. I would also browse some of the other TTC boards since many women with health issues post on those, but not on some of these others. But please, DO stick around here! Lovely ladies with lots to offer!!!
