We always go to my MIL's although DH and I try to make it to my side also. And then we go back to my MIL's on Friday for Thanksgiving round 2....its a tradition and I love it!!

Cycles 1-12 all BFN's. Going straight to IVF per RE advice.

February 2011 IVF
2.24.2011. Retrieval 16 eggs! 15 were mature and 12 fertilized!
3.1.2011. Transferred 2 blasts!!
3.2.2011. 4 "beautiful" blasts on ice
3.11.2011. IVF #1 unsuccessful

5.20.2011. FET BFP!! 82
5.23.2011. 83
5.25.2011. 130
5.27.2011. 168 devastated
5.31.2011. 293 (saw sac on u/s)
6.3.2011. sac not growing m/c confirmed

9.2011. Planning another FET

We've been alternating my family and his (because they used to be so big!), but last year he went to his and I went to mine then he came to mine afterward. (It's at my Mom's sister's house.) I think this year I am going to try to get him to come with me to mine and we'll go to just his at my MIL's next year, but we'll see! I have to work the day after Thanksgiving usually, so I haven't volunteered my house for it yet.

Our TTC journey: 6 cycles Clomid, lap surgery/ D&C, IUI, 2 x IVF; 33 cycles- BFN.
IVF#1 (March 2010) Transferred two 8-cell grade A (perfect) embies- BFN and heartbroken.
 IVF#2/FET#1 (Jan/Feb 2011):Transferred two (7&8 cell) grade A (PERFECT) embies- BFN again.
March 2011- February 2012: On BCP due to endometriosis.
March 2012- taking a few months off of BCP and we are TTC naturally.
We will re-evaluate another IVF w/FET try in 2013.

Well, our usual plans are to travel to our family home in Arkansas where FIL grew up. FIL's family/kids & grandkids all get together with his SIL and her kids and grandkids. We all do something for the big feast and we all end up stuffed. We usually take a nature walk after dinner to make room for dessert. LOL

Not happening this year since I will be just a few weeks from my edd. IL's are staying home and we will do thanksgiving there. DH is smoking a turkey for dinner and MIL will do most of the rest. I think SIL is bringing rolls and I signed up for sweet potatoes. IL's are traveling for the weekend after and I am supposed to keep baby in at least till they get back - haha!

We usually switch between my family and DHs family, but I have decided I don't like my MIL that much and DH is working seasonal hours so it'll probably just be me going to my mom and step-dad's house. I hate to leave DH, but any holiday that does not include my MIL is a good one to me!

We are traveling to IL to see the In-laws. This will be our fourth Thanksgiving married, and we have never spent it with DH's family. We fly up on Thursday, from Dallas, and then fly home Sunday, quick trip.

Our Thanksgiving was last month so no turkey plans here. However, the 25th is my last day of work and we're doing a potluck on that day. So I will be eating a ton - no football though.

I'll be celebrating my Anniversary on Thanksgiving! LMAO!
This year, my parents have invited my in-laws to their house to share Thanksgiving with us. I'm super excited cause I don't have to make that dreadful decision on where to go now, plus since all the parents get along so well and my Bro, SIL and nephews do as well, it'll be a fun time for sure. And since it's our anniversary, I may make everyone watch our wedding video! Heh heh heh
