Hi, I am new to this so I thought I would just throw it all out there. I don't have much TTC support since we are not telling anyone we are TTC baby #2... We have been TTC for 10 cycles now and my DH just does not understand how bad a BFN is to me. So I guess I am all alone in my monthly devastation and I am not sure how much more of it I can handle especially since everyone around me is getting pregnant "by mistake" Today I am 1 day late been testing for 4 days now and I just started spotting so I am sure it is probably AF and she will be full force by tomorrow. Is it time to see a doctor? I guess I really have not thought to do so yet since with baby #1 we didn't try we just stopped preventing and BAM first month we were pregnant, even though it took more than 2 weeks past my missed period for a test to show positive.... My husband, I think he finally is understanding cause he asked me today if he could get tested... what do you recommend at this point? Also had a mirena removed in January. Thanks for any help!

10 months in my book is a long time...but we have been really trying for #2 for 7 cycles and my RE is so blasse about it and says, well you havent been trying that long...um, ok...lol

it also depends on your age too...I am turning 39 and dh turned 40 so my dr referred us to an RE right away because of our age.

My dh got his first s/a done with our regular dr's office and I had day 3 bloodwork and day 21 b/w done with her...so I would talk with your dr first and see if you can start these tests...that should give you an indication if something is wrong and then you'll be referred to an RE

good luck!
