i only got a message but she said i had a couple follicles on my ovaries which could be part of my long cycles.

af is still not here go figure. i go in monday for a pregnancy test and some other blood work and she is going to call me tuesday and send in a perscription to get af started. then i'll have the dye test if i can get in.

i've been reading a little on the internet and i think i probably have PCOS which really sucks but i'm also kind of relieved because i know you can still get pregnant and have a healthy baby with pcos. i'm not a doctor though so who knows.

Have you always had long/irregular cycles? What other symptoms do you have of PCOS, if I may ask? Hopefully thats not what it is. Good Luck

i've had long irregular cycles since coming off depo 2 years ago. like i said, i'm not a doctor so i have no idea if pcos is what is wrong with me. that is just my guess. theres the irregular cycles, infertility so far, thinning hair(i have really thick hair and it always "sheds" about this time of the year...but it sheds more than it used to and it is all the time not just in the spring...good thing i have the hair to loose), my face has been breaking out just a little(that is weird for me. i normally have clear skin), i think my hair grows faster(i shave every day...i used to be able to go every couple days.).

I'm sorry your cycles are messed up, but it sounds like you're going to get some answers very soon.

I was on BCP for 7 years and went of last June; my cycles have been all over the place every since. I know how hard and frustrating it can be. The cycle before last was 81 days for me of pure torture.

I hope your doctors helps you get back on track.

Oooh! Possible answers! I know that a signosis of PCOS isn't what you want, but you're right--you CAN get pregnant with it. Just browse the DDCs (if you can stomach it) and see how many there are. I have PCOS, endo, etc., and while NOT fun, it's such a relief to have answers. I hope that this is the case for you--answers, I mean.

Good luck Monday--can't wait for an update!
