I had my first scan today since this is my first cycle on Clomid. The doctor says I have many follicles all different sizes. The largest measured at 17.5mm which is pretty good. Usually at 20 mm is when they burst through and you ovulate. The doctor suspects I will ovlulate in the next two or three days. She says that there is always a chance that the egg will not be released, but it is looking good so far. I have to go back in two days (Monday) for another scan to see the progress.

She said my lining looks good and "fluffy" (weird huh?), better than she expected, but not quite think enough yet for ovulation and implanation. Hopefully that will change in the next couple days.

The bad news: She said she suspects I have some form of PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) because most people have just a few follicles and she said that I have many. She said I have about 6 to 8 small ones and then 3 or 4 bigger ones. She said she wouldn't diagnosis me with that yet, but thinks I have a form or it. What the heck is that supposed to mean!!!!!!!! That kind of freaked me out. I asked her if it could be from the Clomid and she says she doesn't think so. I am so confused!

Anyway, sorry so long but wanted to share the progress with Clomid. I know there are quite a few ladies just starting it or are already on it too.
