Has anyone ever gotten pregnant even with their partner's sperm count being low? I am just curious because DH goes in later this month with an appointment with an urologist. I don't know if anything will be wrong with him, but just in case I would like to know if anyone has any success stories to tell. Maybe give me some hope before we get advise or numbers from the doctor.

Good deal! I am glad to hear that. I have no idea if that is part of our problem yet but I would not doubt it either. It is good to know that things CAN happen with low sperm counts and to hear it from real people and not books.

Yes it is very possible! I have a very good friend with a 2 year old daughter & currently preggo with #2 and her hubby was told he had a low sperm count so the possibility of kids was not good---they were even in the process of adopting when she got pregnant with #1 !!!

Don't quote me on this but I think I have heard that if the sperm count is low but motility is good, that is a good sign that all hope is not lost. I have no idea where I have picked that up from though. So people, feel free to correct me if I am passing on misinformation!

But I know my friend has 2 kids from a hubby with low sperm count and that's for sure!!

Good luck with your tests.
