I know about the early signs of pregnancy from reading and such, can't remember any real early signs from my other kids other than the sickness.
My question is how soon do the early symptoms show, such as when do you get sore breasts? fatigue? I honestly do not remember how soon this should occur.

My other question is about clomid. I know a few of you responded to my other topic that I mentioned a friend of mine was on it for the first cycle. Well her doctor called her today and her ultrasound didn't come back good. She has 3 cysts.
Is this from the clomid? Is it common? Can it prevent pregnancy or will it hurt her if she already is?

Sorry for all the questions. Thanks ahead of time for all your good answers.

Can't help you with the clomid question, but for early signs, in the past I had severe breast tenderness from implanting and on, extra sensitive to smells, light headed, vivid dreams, felt like I could sleep all day long. There is a sticky for early pregnancy symptoms where everyone list them, go check them out see if you have any of them. But be careful, alot of the symptoms are the same for A/F. Good luck.

Wish I could help you with your topic on Clomid and cysts. I don't know for sure if Clomid would cause that or not. I have not heard of it causing cysts.

As for preg symptoms I have read (since I have never been preggers I really can't tell you) that they can start as early as conception and definately as early as implantation. I am sure you have heard of a website called twoweekwait.com but if you have not checked it out you should. Many women have posted their preg symptoms.

Are you feeling some pregnancy symptoms?

Early signs for me started around the time AF was late and they were really sore breasts (REALLY sore, not just PMS sore which was what I normally had) and frequent urination, and feeling bloated & indigestion. I didn't know what indigestion was until later but definitely that was one of my first signs. Fatigue for me did not set in until several weeks later, I don't remember exactly when though. I didn't have morning sickness at all.

About Clomid--I have no experience with Clomid but I have read that Clomid causes hyperstimulation of the ovaries that can potentially lead to cysts. I don't know how long you'd have to take Clomid to actually experience this side effect but if your friend only took it just one month it doesn't seem like that would be long enough to cause cysts. But that is just my speculation, I don't know for sure. I also don't know what effect cysts have on fertility, sorry, wish I knew more.

I don't have any signs that I know of. I haven't seen an implantation dip yet though. I am just trying to find this out so that I can be prepared.
Thanks everyone....
This has been a hard 2ww this time. I can't wait until it is over.

I'm sorry that the 2WW isn't going by so swiftly!!! You can come help me pack and move to make it FLY by!

For pregnancy, each one has been different. Honestly, I just knew each time I was implanting, even on the super-duper surprise one. As for symptoms, my breasts eventually became sore the first time around, but mostly, I was sleepy and queasy all the time. After a year and a half and getting pregnant again, my breasts didn't really get too sore for chemical pregnancies or miscarriages that happened at 5.5 weeks or less. I had virtually no symptoms with another other than increased hot flashes. This one, I'd had a chem pg right before and a miscarriage with a methotrexate shot about 3 months before, so my breasts were still getting very sore (VERY) right after O. I was more tired than usual, immediately queasy, and too warm, even in the dead of Montana winter at -40F!!! The weird thing for this one was that I KNEW that I was pregnant and was assuming another poor ending (I'd had nothing else), especially when my boobs stopped being sore at 12 DPO. I tested basically to have a record of the pregnancy. In other words, I think that symptoms really ARE different for each woman and for each pregnancy. I'm hoping that you get at least an inkling of an early symptom this time around!!!

As for Clomid, I've had friends and relatives who have had many cysts right after they've started, and some have kept getting them several months into TTC. BUT I've also had friends who got pregnant right away and still had cysts. In general, cysts *shouldn't* interfere with a pregnancy at all. It wouldn't be until much later that it might be a problem, though they can cause quite a scare if they start leaking--spotting and cramping, a pregnant woman's nightmare!!! I hope that your friend gets some answers AND a BFP!

And now, I should really shut up, huh?

I haven't really had any early signs yet. I have been extra tired the last couple of days but I don't think of that as a symptom. I am only 7dpo but starting to feel depressed that this is not going to be our month again. It is bothering me more this month because we tried so hard this month. (o strips and charting) I just honestly do not know how much longer I can do this. I think I am just feeling extra blah today.

Also been having the feeling that AF is on her way and I do know that this is also a symptom of pg but I couldn't be so lucky, could I?

I have been doing a lot of reading on fertility lately while I wait for my doc appt. (if I ever get one)

One thing I can not get a good answer to is does there have to be an implantation dip in temperature to say you are pg or can you be pg and not have the dip in the temps?

Thanks for listening to a frustrated beyond belief gal.

I'm so sorry that this is a particularly difficult day. It hurts SO much to know that you've tried everything and for whatever reason, it just didn't happen this month.

But you're not out of the running yet, and 7 DPO is often too early to get ANY indication that you might be pg. It's probably WAY early to feel any symptoms!!! So please don't count yourself out yet.

I have NEVER had an implantation dip. Never. I haven't had a temp rise every time I've been pregnant, either. Some women have both, some have neither. But never let your temp be THE indicator of pregnancy for you. You will drive yourself absolutely NUTS over it!

I know, easier said than done, not obsessing. And I'm about the worst person for obsessing over charting. Really, though, 7 DPO is a bit early to know anything. Right now, you're in the worst limbo--post-O, generally pre-implantation. I'm just going to keep everything crossed that you get the BFP you deserve this month!!!

Thank you so much for all the kind words. I try to tell DH about how I feel and he says to stop obsessing over it and just let it happen. He just doesn't understand. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have JM. Who knows maybe I would have thrown in the towel a long time ago.
I am onto 8 dpo today. Temps still high, hope they stay that way.
