so most of you know i was scheduled for an ultra sound yesterday. well all day long i had terrible contraction like pains, they were taking my breathe away and making me extremely uncomfortable so dh told me to cancel my u/s and just go to the er, where id probably get one plus get help for the pain.

it was an AWFUL experience. to start it off, i go to register and they take your bp and temp etc. the lady nurse who is putting my info into the comp asks me if this is my first pregnancy..i said..3rd. she goes, you got kids? i said one child and i had a chemical pregnancy last year..she goes how old are you? i said ill be 22 and she goes..HOLY COW 3 PREGNANCIES! so my mouth drops and as im going to sit in the waiting room to be called i start crying hysterical. i couldnt even get the words out to mind her own business, that im married AND trying for these babies she made me feel HORRIBLE. so we waited for awhile and they call me back, take history, bloodwork and insert a foley so they can fill it for the ultra sound since they wouldnt let me just drink..this was HORRIBLE i thought i was going to explode!!!!! i have had a full bladder but never a forced one, omg its horrible. and im contracting at the same time So she couldnt get a good enough shot of with the abdominal u/s, she needs to do a vaginal one. to sum it up..this is what the paper i got says

"there is a sac like structure within the endmoeterial cavity which is out of range by measurements. this could be related to early gestational dates or possibly a blighted ovum.

there is a 2.5 right ovarian cystic lesion, likely a corpus luteal cyst"--great!

if ANYONE has any info about a blighted ovum or this cyst, please tell me about your experience. did you pass everything by yourself or did you need a d&c? did the cyst go away on its own?

My best friend had one a couple weeks ago. A blighted ovum is basicly a miscarraige. The embryo implants into the uterus and then studenly stops growing. She said that the doctors said it was her choice to either have a d&c or let her body pass it on her own. They leave it up to the woman cannot seem to handle it emotionaly. She decided not to go with the d&c. She passed the tissue about 2 weeks later. She also said that they (dr.s) said it doesn't increace the chances of another miscarriage because it's mainly a chromosone thing.

I just found out a have a cyst about 46 mm. The doctor is hoping it passes or they said I might have to go on birth control for a little while until it goes away. It sounds like your has past or is in the process. I hope you are feeling better. I will have to let you know about mine later.
