As most of you know, we got our BFP this month.

I wanted to share what we did differently this month, in case it may help any of you.

DH is a smoker, and our doctor said that if he didn't quit (ideal I know), then he should definately be taking two chewable Vitamen C tablets a day. Smoking causes the little swimmers to bind together in some men, and the Vitamen C helps them become more independent. DH took 2 tablets a day from CD 1 onward.

I was convinced that I wasn't getting enough EWCM, so our doctor suggested than instead of expensive Preseed, we use Evening Primrose Oil. I took eight capsules daily until O day, and we cut open the capsules, and used it for lubrication during O time.

I drank Herbal Raspberry tea every morning until O day.

Thats about it. I obviously continued to take my Prenatal Vitamen everyday with dinner (I've been taking that for months now.

Good luck to you all!!

I had never heard of the Evening Primrose bit, so I wanted to be sure to share that. It's a heck of a lot cheaper than the Preseed.

Alex

I don't mind you asking at all!!!

The doctor reccommended the EPO as a lubricant.

Here's how we used it:

I cut open about 4 capsules. I put the oil into a small ziploc resealable container. Right before we BDed, I put the oil on my clean finger, and put it right up there! Sorry if that was TMI! I also put it all around the outside as well. What ever I didn't use, I just sealed up, and left in the bathroom for the next day's use.

I've been temping, so I knew an approximate time that I'd be Oing, so we used the oil during any of those possible days.

As soon as my temp went up, we stopped using the EPO both as a lubricant and as a pill because EPO can cause uterine contractions in pregnant women.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you need any more info!!

Thanks for the congrats! We're still shocked!

Alex

Oh, congrats!!! I've been away and haven't seen the exciting news yet. WOOOHOOOO!!!

Sounds like you did all the right things, including some I've never heard of! The EPO as lubricant DOES sound like a good idea, though, now that you mention it...and yes, a hell of a lot cheaper than Preseed!!! Oh, I'm so happy for you!!! Here's to a healthy and happy 9 months ahead!!!

Thank you for your congrats!!!

I know that using EPO as a lubricant sounds strange, but it really doesn't feel weird at all when you try it. I don't know if that was what did the trick - but hey this was our first month using it - and I got a BFP.

This was also my weirdest temp cycle out of the past 7 months. My temps jumped, then dropped really low for 4 days, then jumped again - we really weren't sure when I o'ed.

Good luck ladies, I truly want you all to get your BFPs soon!
