Do you have regular or irregular cycles?

What do you think defines a regular cycle?

For those with regular cycles, has your doctor told you that that means you're ovulating regularly?

For those with irregular cycles, is there a medical reason behind why?

I have regular 35 day cycles and i tempted for 5 cycles and my temps and opk said i am Oing between cd17-21. my periods are pretty normal too. When i was younger i was diagnosed with scoliosis and had a lot of xrays done. I am really beginning to wonder if that has something to do with it. what do you think?

Irregular. 1st cycle after BCP was 27 days. 2nd – 29. 3rd – 31. 4th – 35. I then tested positive on cycle 5, but not until day 37. After m/c, my first AF took 37 days. I feel like I’m just all over the place. I have no idea why – except maybe because I’m getting older? (Ripe old age of 31 this year…yowza. I remember that with my DD, it only took me 3 cycles and I was like a clock that whole time, so it’s definitely different this time around.

Hey there cycle buddy! (well, for now anyway... Who knows about next month?) If a BFP eludes me this month, I have a treasure trove of new things to try courtesy of my TTC friends...and I will add raspberry tea to that list. Thanks for the tip!

BTW, your doggie is very sweet on that couch. Silly pup.

Red raspberry leaf actually messed up my cycles a bit, but it does strengthen the uterus, so it may be worthwhile. It also helps AF to be shorter

My cycle is pretty regular. I only had super weird cycle, and it was the month I got married, so I think the stress messed it up.

I am regular. 28-29 day cycles. It's very easy for me to predict when AF will be here or when I O. I usually O CD14-16.

I haven't seen a doctor yet.

Have a pretty regular cycle too...29/30 days...but am unsure about ovulating...I have seen my doctor...but he says everything looks fine...so I am very unsure on the way forward. I was sooooo sure that this would be the month for a BFP...
I dont know how to approach the month ahead...

I'm a big supporter of charting to confirm ovulation. They say if you have a regular cycle you are probably ovulating regularly too, but you can chart to know for sure and to make sure your luteal phase (2nd half of your cycle) is long enough. I hope that this cycle will be your last one for a while!

Pretty regular with 28-29 day cycles. Usually O around CD13 or CD14, with a 14 day LP. Doc says I'm Oing every month (of course with FF charts to back that up), so I'm just waiting for my sweet sticky bean!

Mine are currently irregular and have been every which way after mc. Like going from ovulating on CD 10 and 13 to O'ing on CD 26 and 28. (Which I think the last two were late O because of illness and the other from traveling)

I had some blood tests in January and they said all my levels looked normal. I just think that sadly my body didn't handle the mc so well. I am praying my cycle becomes more regular soon!

I have pretty regular cycles. I usually have 25 day cycles. Sometimes though I will have up to 28 days in a cycle. My OBGYN told me in September that I O on day 9 - 14. I just bought a Clearblue Fertility Monitor at the beginning of this month and found out, I actually don't ovulate until day 16! I'm at 9DPO now!

I have irregular cycles...more like 45-59 days, sometimes a random 30. This cycle I started bleeding at 19dpo. Ugh.

I have no clue why my cycles are so messed up. I am thinking PCOS, but my doctor said that wasnt likely since i have 3 young kids. lol I dont think he knows much...
