So my bf and I have been trying since October 2011 and this morning I took a up&up brand test an it was a very obvious positive like twenty seconds after I peed on it. Yesterday or today was the day I was suppose to start my pd. I'm so scared!! I hope it's not false..has anyone else ever had a positive taking an Up&up brand the very first pee the day before or day of missed of pd??

I don't have any experience with the target brand but Ive taken many off brands and never had a false positive..if it showed up right away and there are no mistaking the lines you are most definitely pregnant..Can you post a pic of the test?

I've not had experience with that brand of test, but I do know that generic tests (as long as they aren't old) are just as accurate as their name brand counterparts. Plus, even when generic tests do get it wrong, it's usually in the other direction, telling you that you aren't pregnant when you are.

And just to put your mind a little more at ease, I have a friend with 4 kids and she always uses Dollar Store pregnancy tests. They were never wrong!

It looks like you're pregnant. Congrats!
