Well I just took my vaginal OvaCue reading and it says that it has confirmed O for today. This has me super excited because if it's true, not only was it successful in PREDICTING it, to the day since CD8, but I O'd on CD14 and on top of all that, I O'd WITHOUT CLOMID YET AGAIN.

Now I cannot get completely excited considering the fact that this weekend I slacked SUPER bad, and missed readings left and right, didn't temp at all, etc. I did get that positive OPK yesterday and that pretty-much-positive OPK on Friday as well so that gives me hope.

I obviously won't know anything until tomorrow's temp, but what I did notice was weird.

I'm not a cervix checker, but usually my cervix is not kickin' it super low when I insert the vaginal wand. Today, I feel like my vag is super short because when I was taking the vaginal reading, my cervix was just like "oh, hello vaginal wand, you want a reading? Too bad I'm right here and don't want you in. " Does your cervix typically drop really low right after ovulation or is this just a weird fluke?

I need to know. RIGHT NOW. I'm feeling extremely impatient and jittery hahaha.

Thanks ladies for listening to me ramble, and thanks even more if you have some kind of input

I hope you O'd today! Good luck with catching that egg!

I think everyone's cervix and CM is different at any given time in a cycle. I know it's normally supposed to be high and open during O and over a few days drop lower, but I think it can change day to day. I hope this is it for you, hon!

I don't really check my cervix, but mine usually doesn't get too low. I hope the other ladies have some answers for you

Every woman is different like Allie said. Good luck!

Hopefully you are one of those who ovulate the day after their first full day of positive OPK which would put it today so you may well be right. I am so friggin excited.

Due to the cervix changing from high to low in any given minute its always best to check your cervix opening for its texture and opening. Tip of the nose is firm and lips is soft. Firm should be after ovulation so if its firm then you have ovulated probably.

Thanks ladies

If I did O today I am pumped, we got 3 BD sessions in the past 3 days and that's crazy considering DH was sick.

If I don't have a high temp tomorrow I may break my thermometer!

Thanks. My reading today went up even more so I could have O'd today, or perhaps my temp was a fluke and I did O yesterday... OvaCue still says O day was yesterday, but who knows... if it was today, my chances are low now since my CM is so crappy....

Discouraged

Hey sweetie, don't feel discouraged.

I have told people plenty of times that it can take more than a day to notice a rise in temps depending on what time you ovulated. It can take 12 hours to have enough progesterone to show the rise and if you ovulated late in the day then you may not see a rise. Also your missing temps could have been a dip.

No worries! You only got the + on CD14, so your temp could still easily jump in the next day or two. Can't wait.
