I have been told the myth of these is just that,. There is nothing studyfied (my word) that says its good for conception. It is good in your diet after conception though, I do know that because there is something in it for good muscle growth.

Its just telling you, you need a good balanced diet of all natural stuff. Look at 3rd world countries, they are as fertile as mice and rabbits. They eat all natural stuff.

From what I’ve read it’s yucca (aka cassava root) that increases fertility to the point where you can conceive twins. It’s based on a small tribe in Africa that has the highest percentage of twins per population and the main product of their diet is yucca. Which is a starchy potato like vegetable.

I'm thinking about looking in to yucca and seeing if we have any here. I've never had it before but if it will up my chances of twins I'd like to try it.

Wild yams are supposed to help progesterone I think.

As far as myths... my favorite is the standing on your head or with your legs up the headboard after BD. It's supposed to channel the sperm to your tubes but based on the anatomy of your cervix I don't think it works that way. Your cervix sticks out from the top of your vagina so I think it would just pool around it and the sperm would still have to climb up.

I've heard it's Wild Yams or Wild Yam Root or something like that.

Okay I might be really lame, but this made me laugh hysterically. Does anyone remember the old computer game "Lemmings"? When I read this I thought of the Lemmings that climb the walls.
