I don't think I've ever posted here, but I have been ttc for a year now. I'm considering going to the Dr. soon to get some tests done, but I don't know what to expect.
I'm mostly concerned that if there is something wrong....it's something on DH's side and not mine. I know that I'm Oing....I'm having pretty regular cycles now, definite temp shifts (granted I didn't chart this month because I knew we were going to be apart around O time) taking my vitamins and trying to be healthy. My systems seem all go....is there something that could be wrong on my side that I wouldn't have any symptoms with...hormonal or physical??? I have always been very crampy with AF...sometimes to the point I do have to sit down, but that has always been that way since I started getting AF...other than that nothing seems out of the ordinary.
Any advice regarding this will be GREATLY appreciated...I truly know nothing about this!!! Thanks!!!

i dont really have much advise. the first time i went to the doctor they ordered an ultrasound to check for cysts on my ovaries, hsg to see if my tubes were blocked, and i also had several blood tests done. oh an dh did a sperm analyasis. i think it would be a good idea to go to the doctor considering you hit 1 year. i'm sorry i cant be of much help.

We have been ttc since may 04 and i too thought our prob would be with DB.
Turns out he does have a low sperm motility, but i was the main obstacle.
I only O about once every 5 mths!
You said 'I know i am O'ing'. How do you know, if you have never had tests...?

I showed positives quite often on my opks and had O pains etc, but the bloods still
proved that i never did O.

I would recommend that you go into the testing with a open mind.
I too just thought it would be DB as most fertility probs do lie with men.
I was very wrong. I am getting the help i need in the form of clomid.
It seems to have worked, but tomorrows blood test will give me a definate answer.

I guess I couldn't say for sure if I Oed, but I have consistantly had charts clearly indicating O along with the pos OPKs, CP and CM. Can you actually not O and have all of these??? I'm not charting this month because I knew DH and I would be apart around O time, so I figured I'd take the month off. I've charted 8 of the past 12 months, and all have shown an ovulation pattern. I guess our bodies can act in strange ways and trust me, I'm praying that if anything is wrong that they find it with me!!!
