1) I made the mistake of bringing TTC up to DH. He gets all fiesty and is all "just let it happen, stop worrying, etc" Whatever. He doesn't get it.

2)Why did I think it was going to be fast? Because I got pregnant the first time "by accident". I figured if it can happen by accident I don't see why it will be so hard to have it happen on purpose. but I didn't take into account that we were having sex everyday. sometimes 2 times a day. I didn't take into account that I wasn't stressed about getting pregnant back then. All I cared about is which concert or party I was going to next. and then my life did a complete 180. Now I want to have a million little kids running around. lol

*sigh* Happy wednesday.

It's tough when the DH isn't fully on board. Mine I think still wants to be in that stage of life where all you do is party, and I'm sooo past that. I hope you get a BFP soon.

Last night I told DH I'm depressed it's taking so long. He said "We only tried once." Which isn't true. We've tried formally twice and informally once and all that was after 4 1/2 years of NTNP that resulted in 1 miscarriage. So to me, it does seem like it's taking long. Some men just don't get it.

I am in the same boat as you!
I had all my kids on accident too... didnt think it would be almost a year now and we are still TTC.
DH says the same thing. I cant bring up anything around him. He says he wants more kids but doesnt want to be involved in TTC, does that make sense? He was even the one who brought up that he would love to just have twins this time around, and be done. He has only bought one pack of OPKs and thats it... he doesnt want to know anything; and I should just "jump him when the time is right" - his words. LOL

Its a really easy concept. You BD. You wait 2 weeks. You have BFP. LOL. But really its more like You BD A LOT. You time it JUST RIGHT.. and you still wait 12 Months 0-4 years and you finally get a BFP.

BIG HUGS TO ALL OF YOU LADIES.

Like it isn't already hard enough to work through this TTC process month after month. It just makes it all the worse when our significant others don't understand our pain, or are not as willing to put forth extra effort to make it happen sooner. The worst is making it all our responsibility to BD at the right times. Um hello I like being seduced too ya know. My DH is my best friend and I can talk to him about anything and everything except TTC. I totally understand where you are all coming from.

I guess maybe we all need to smack our DH's around a bit. JK

My husband and I are are best friends as well, and we do talk about anything. We do, on occasion, talk about TTC, but most of the time we don't.

Your time will come Andrea.

We talk about TTC all the time but I never talk about when I am fertile etc etc.

I hope we all move on from this wretched road before 2013. x
