So I forgot about OPKs this cycle. Sounds nuts and definitely sounds crazy to me because I'm usually all over those. Call me crazy, I think I got too relaxed this cycle But I bought the First Response OPK brand and went to break them out today. But then read the directions as I've never used them and they state to begin testing CD5, do you think it's too late to use them and should I save them?

Do you chart as well? How long are your cycles normally? If you're not passed when you should have O'd I think you should still be able to use them.

All opk's with good instructions state to start cd5-6 because for first time users they never know exactly when they ovulate.

If you have cycles that are 28-30 days then I would start cd10 as you may ovulate cd12-16.

Shorter cycles then I would start using them early.

Myself, as I usually ovulate cd9-13 I start from the first day af leaves me.
