Last year this time before we started TTC I was working out A LOT and I lost about 25 pounds and still had about 25 more to go.. well I gained it all back and then some (i'm not exactly sure because I refuse to step on a scale. I become obsessive when I do) anyways, to get my mind off of ttc i've decided that I would sign up for a couple 5K running marathons.. well they're not both 5Ks.. one is only 2.6 miles and one is a 5k. It's called "the drumstick dash" and the "santa hustle" so it will be fun and I will not focus 100% on baby making any more lol I will only focus half my attention
That sounds like a great distraction, and a healthy one at that.
I personally think that exercise is one of the better distractions. Maybe for me at least b/c I'm OCD and when I start focusing on something I REALLY focus on it. I haven't really managed to lose any weight myself, but I am feeling better and more energetic and a little more positive.
