Hi, I guess I better introduce myself:
I'm Anna, my husband and I are ttc #1, have been trying for 7 months with only 2 cycles.. Hoping for better luck and more consistency with cycles in future..In the meantime I am have been looking for someone who might understand what I'm going through.
Welcome to the board, Anna! My DH and I have been ttc for a while as well. Although I don't have irregular cycles, I understand the frustration and heartache that comes with trying for such a long time. The ladies on here are wonderful, and we are all in the same or similar places.
What I can give you is a little advice. Keep on smiling, even when it is hard, just fake it till you make it. Laugh as much as you can. Find something to keep your mind occupied. (I learned how to crochet this summer to keep myself distracted from ttc) Love your life and live it. You will one day have a baby, whether your baby comes about by medical assistance or adoption, or a wonderful miracle, you will get your chance to be a mother.
Welcome!! We are a friendly bunch of ladies here. I hope you're stay is short with us! I'm Andrea, me and DH have been TTC #2 since April. I had two anov cycles back to back so I went to the dr and I have PCOS and have just started metformin and in 3 months if no baby I start clomid.. Do you temp? do you know why you're not having regular cycles? have you been to the dr about it?
I do not temp yet, but I am getting really close to starting. I have been to the doctor several times...At first he told me I need to gain weight, didn't think it would be possible unless I gained 10 lbs...After lots of hard work eating (I have always struggled to eat enough to maintain weight due to stomach issues) iand gaining 7lbs I finally got a period, but it still has been far from regular..My doc says he doesn't think we should look more into it until it has been a whole year, in the meantime I just feel like I don't work right. And to add to it, both of my sisters got pregnant this year on the first month they went off of BC.
