I had a ttc appointment yesterday. I say it like that because I was origionally scheduled for a week ago with my ob. They cancelled without telling me. I rescheduled, making sure to ask for my ob and not a nurse. I get there yesterday, on time, and I find out that my appointment is with a midwife. Let's add insult to injury THEEEEEEEEN, she proceeds to tell me that she doesn't specialize in infertility and she'll have to consult someone else then be right back to me, if she can find someone. Okay, 30 minutes later, she comes in and we talk a bit. She says I'm having infertility due to anovulaton. Really?? I had no clue So she tells me I may have pcos and I need to get blood drawn but I'll have to go back because the lab closed 10 minutes ago. Right. She sends me home with another script for Provera, Prenatals, the number to the REI (which my insurance probably doesn't cover), and me sobbing my eyes out.
I've been doing research on my own though and my husband and I have decided that I should try not taking a certain medication I am because it could possibly effect a woman's cycle. I'm just praying at this point. *Sigh*
