I'm almost 34 and my husband and I have been trying for almost 6 months.
I have been using the ovulation tests every month and my cycle is around 31- 32 days. Every month I have my hopes up so high and think this is the magic month and then I get my period and it feels like a knife in my heart. I'm trying so hard to be patient but its really hard when everyone around you is getting pregnant with no issues.

I'm starting to worry because I have been paying extra attention to my body and have noticed I do not get that egg white cervical fluid around my ovulation days. What can this mean? Has anyone tried pre-seed? My discharge stays creamy and sometimes watery throughout WHY???

Also because of my age my OBGYN doesn't want us to try for a full year. She sent my husband to get a sperm analysis this past Wednesday, we should have the results in 7 days. If all is good with him I have to go get blood work etc. I feel like this process is putting me in a dark place, my close friends are getting pregnant and instead of me being happy for them I feel jealous.

Hi there, I was 36 when we conceived #1; it took ten months of trying and several rounds of clomid before we had success. We also had my hubby go in for sperm analysis, but it did come back fine (albeit slightly lower count).
Are the OPK's showing a positive? If they are, make sure you dtd starting that very day, because you won't ovulate for another 24-48 hours after that initial surge. You want to get that sperm in there and hanging about; ready to meet the egg when it drops. Good luck!!

Hey! I know how frustrating this whole process can be. It took us almost exactly a year to conceive our first daughter and so we though the second one would be the same long wait...wrong!! She was conceived in 3 months without even really "trying" I just had my Mirena removed and was waiting for my cycle to regulate before we really started to try and then "BAM" I was pregnant and wouldn't have even known if I hadn't gone to the dr for a completely unrelated issue. We are currently about 7 months into trying for #3 and it is very frustrating! I feel your pain and frustration girl!!! And I know what you mean about all the pregnant women around...it is heartbreaking to see them and normal to feel a little jealous. It sounds like your dr is moving things in the right direction though with all the testing. Good luck and keep updating!
