My Dr. is the best!!!! I went in today to talk to her about things. I came off BC May 2005, so it's officially been over a year. I brought my charts with me and we talked about A LOT of things....she even asked me questions that sparked other things I had forgotten about. Our course of action....since I believe I am Oing today or in the next 2 days, she is going to do bloodwork next Thursday. She is checking me for:
1. Rubella antibodies - just to be sure my immunization is up because if you contract Rubella while pg it can cause birth defects
2. Glucose - just incase, but no history of diabetes here
3. TSH - thyroid
4. FSH, Progesterone and Prolactin
5. Lupus Panel - my mom has Lupus and there's a pretty good chance I do too, just have never been tested
(I don't know if I have enough blood for all that!!!!)

That's just the bloodwork!! A week after that I'm having and ultrasound to check my ovaries and be sure that everything is in working order. I've always had this nagging pulling twinge on my right side that she said may be a cyst, so she wants to check it out. After the ultrasound....the same day I will see her and get the results from everything. She said if everything looks good, DH will be next! So, 2 weeks from now I should have some definite answers!!! I feel so lucky to have such a proactive Dr. She said "We're gonna get you pregnant quick!" I'm with her!!!!

Is there anything else I should ask her about when I go back in 2 weeks???

Wow, that's great. Isn't it such a relief to have a doctor who cares and takes action on your behalf?
Last week, I saw a new gyno who already ordered me in for two rounds of bloodwork. She did an exam and gave me a vaginal ultrasound(everything was normal.) The next step after that will be an HSG. My DH's S/A came back normal. Lots and lots of luck to you!!

Oh that is great!!! I am so glad that you have a DR that is willing to work with you! I just know that you will have your BFP soon!!!!
