Do you know what's wrong with the process yet?

DH? Male factor? Or is it something with you? Or is everything okay & it's just taking a while?

In my case, it's my problems. Endo/PCOS.

What about you?

I thought it would be interesting to find out why we are all stuck in purgatory!! (Lol, maybe it's not that bad, but it feels like torture)

For us I'm not sure what is wrong. I think maybe it's just more sex that we need.... COOL by me!

I have no idea what our trouble is. Well, DH's S/A results were fine. My vaginal ultrasound and exam came out normal. The next step for me is bloodwork when cycle #11 TTC starts and then an HSG. Then, maybe we can see if there is a problem. About 90% of couples conceive in the first year. It hasn't even been a year TTC for us yet, so I'm not giving up hope that we'll start a family someday.

We are not really sure yet. DH s/a came back normal. My doctor has also ordered blood work and an hsg test. She suspects that I am not ovulating due to having a slightly higher bmi. Once we find out what the problem is we will go from there.

Our problem is I have PCOS and Low Progesterone.
Although we havn't done the tests.. hubbys swimmers seem to be fine.
I have gotten pregnant twice in the last year.. but low progesterone prevented them from going full term.
We are both overweight which doesn't help either.

Purgatory...LOL...that's a nice way to put it!!! It is torture!!!

At first it was both of us, but DH has been taking supplements recommended by the RE and has improved his motility from 30% to 60%. His count has improved also....so according to RE, he is now better than average. Now I guess it's just me. My brain does not create FSH (follicle stimulating hormone). I take injections for that and HCG shots to make me ovulate. I want to have an HSG done so that I can make sure that I don't have blocked tubes. I believe I also have low progesterone (according to my last test.)

Do you know what's wrong with the process yet?:

the only thing I know is that the problem is age related infertility or so my OB/GYN has said.

DH? Male factor? Or is it something with you? Or is everything okay & it's just taking a while?:

its not DH its me. We are going to see a RE on Aug. 29th...finally.

I was always told that it was me:
PCOS (which can come with insulin resistance)
endometriosis
low progesterone
unexplained adhesions (not endo-related)
other chronic health problems that interfere with fertility
tilted uterus
completely anovulatory for years
LP defect (was getting my period for 2-3 weeks, then only 1 week AT MOST off, then heavy bleeding again)
cervical issues
and more...along with "unexplained infertility"...which is weird, considering all of the explained stuff!

DH and I got pregnant, were shocked (LONG list of problems that should have kept ANYONE from getting pregnant--my doc wouldn't even give me a pregnancy test because of the above and the circumstances surrounding it!), lost it, then tried unsuccessfully for a long time. DH had some sperm issues because of his lifestyle and meds. He corrected what he could, then it was a long strong of miscarriages. Don't know what finally worked...

It's so frustrating when you feel like you can't do one of the basic functions that your body was specifically designed for!
