I saw my gynocologist (also a reproductive specialist) in August, on our 10th month/cycle TTC. She did an exam and a vaginal ultrasound. She said I was "normal." She then ordered 2 rounds of bloodwork for me. The first round came back normal and I'm going in for the second round this week. My DH had an S/A done and the results were normal. According to my doctor, the next test will be an HSG. I'm already nervous about that one!
So, what about you ladies?

Sorry if I'm being nosy, but what was the problem? I just want to know b/c I feel like I have low progesterone and if I'm not pregnant by Dec, I am going to demand Clomid!! My progesterone was only 8.1 on CD 22 this past month and she said that was normal, but I've heard otherwise from ladies on here. I'm so confused

No, I have not gone to a doctor. Frankly, I don't know if I will because of my age. So, it's more like, if I get pregnant on my own...wonderful. If not, well, we will just have to live with it.

Yes... I went as soon as we started TTC because I am on anti-depressants and I needed to check to make sure they were okay to stay on while TTC and when I got pregnant. I was indeed cleared for that through several different doctors (first obgyn I went to I didn't like, so I switched). We were recommended for some genetic counselling and blood tests to make sure everything was all set for pregnancy and there was nothing to be concerned about (all my blood tests came back fine, including my resistence to chicken pox, which I was worried about) - basically it's stuff we could have left until I was pregnant, but it's easier for me to do it now. After trying for 6 months+ the midwife suggested we look into an SA for hubby, which is scheduled for this friday. That will let us know where to go from here. *sigh*

I definitely did because my tubes were tied..then we had the reversal...i called when we were on our 5th month of ttc, and he said to wait that month and this month and if we didn't get pregnant the next step is HSG..but I think we might wait 1 more month...he said the HSG was uncomfortable and our insurance doesn't pay for it.
