Our 1st anniversary is coming up and we've been putting aside some $ to either go away for the weekend out of state or go to the casino (Mohegan Sun) for the night. I'm not sure what to get DH for a gift. Any ideas?

Our first anniversary is coming up also...on September 30th. We got married at an Inn so we are going back there to stay that night. I don't really have any gift ideas. It is pretty pricey to do the overnight. It is 4 hours away..all the gas then the money to stay there and eat...we may do something little...who knows...

Dh and I almost got divorced for our first wedding anniversary. Seriously. I was planning on going to a bread and breakfast when everything fell apart and we were looking to get divorce.

About a week later, we settled the problem. Dh was panicking and was dawning on him that he was REALLY married. We talked about the problem and was able to get over the hurdle.

So, we missed celebrating our first wedding anniversary.
