my DD signed up for band this year had anyone ever been in the band?

She is playing the flute.

i played flute in the 6th grade but that is it..

my 11 year old signed up for clarinet but quit last week..

Oh I would be so mad at her if she quit after I just spent all this money on her stuff! The flute was given to us but we had to have it repaired ( $90) and all the other stuff she needed ( $40) It may not seem like a lot of money to alot of people when when you just went 8 weeks with no check it was!

Never was in band. Pretty much all of my siblings were.

I was involved in a competitive marching band in high school, I was in the color guard section. I also played the violin in the school orchestra and did a ton of other activites, clubs and sports growing up. I was that annoying girl who seemed to be president of every club.
