Ok. This question is going to make my dh sound like a real scumbag, but here goes.

I have been saying from the day I had Elizabeth I want to be pregnant again. But I have told dh I want to wait a little while longer because I am in a Nursing program right now, and I will get held back if I get preggo right now. Long story shorter, I want to start TTC in Dec/Jan of this year.

Ok, so here's the thing. Elizabeth(my almost 12 month old--Tuesday!! YEA!!) was conceived less than a month after we got married. We had been using condoms and ONE time we threw caution to the wind--and I was pregnant. So we decided we must be super-fertile.

So now, when dh got home from a military deployment in April, of course we started DTD again. We tried condoms for a while. Then eventually, we just used withdrawal. I would not be upset if I were pregnant, and Dh knows this. I just don't think it's the best timing.

So I found out about a month ago that dh has been baby dancing without my permission, if you catch my drift. He hasn't been pulling out. So it has been about 4-5 months that this has been happening. We were doing it about every night, sometimes every other night. (Ever since I found out what he was doing, I've been avoiding it).

I had my period 2 times in the time that he has been home(I was still BF). Granted, they were three months apart---but wouldn't I still have ovulated? Just really long cycles? I just don't see how I wouldn't have gotten preggo.

So question is---Did any of you get preggo really easily, and then next time around have a lot of trouble TTC? Maybe Elizabeth was just a freak pregnancy, and I'm going to have difficulty from here on out?

Ok, now that I've typed this out, it kind of makes sense. Ovulating two times isn't that much. Hmm. I dunno.

Any advice?

Wow that is hard. It sounds like he really wants another and if you are not ready then you are not ready. Just sit down with him and tell him with all that you have going on to just give you a little time then you will be willing to TTC. BF can make your cycles messed up from what I hear I have never done it so I don't know. Please keep us posted on what you are going to do.
