Ok ladies here is my problem. I have had my period, well I guess its my period, since mid August. It has been very heavy at times then just moderate. There are days when it is completely gone. Then there are days when I will just be sitting around and I will have a huge rush with large clots. SORRY TMI! I am beginning to worry. Should I see a doctor? Will he even do an exam if Im bleeding? Im worried that it might be serious. I read up on endometriosis and different kinds of cancers. Im probably just paranoid but something isnt right. ANY IDEAS WHAT IT COULD BE? PLEASE REPLY. I REALLY NEED FEEDBACK.

THANKS LADIES!

I don't know what it could be, but I do think you should see a doctor right away. Bleeding that long is not good or right. I hope its nothing though. and will keep you in my prayers. Good luck.

I agree with sarah... if you bleed so much, you are losing a lot of iron if nothing else.

Plus, why should you suffer bleeding for so long, I mean, it's bad enough one week a month!! I hope you get this sorted soon (((hugs)))

I would talk to your doctor. You know your own body and instincts if something is not right. If anything talking to your doctor will put your mind at ease.

i'm going through something similar. i have my period and then spot on and off, sometimes heavily with clots, up to CD 20... and then nothing until my period again (CD31-33).

my doctor did a pap and it came back fine.

now i'm going for an ultrasound this cycle.

i hope you got a call back and are getting some help and answers too. gentle (((hugs))). it really sucks doesn't it. it's Murphy's Law... ttc and whammo, cycles get whacky.
