My husband and I have been trying to conceive for over 6 months with no luck. I'm 23 and he's 29. He already has two girls (ages 4 & 5) with his ex, so I know that he is able to have kids. I got pregnant at 14 (rape) but I got an abortion. Now I know I can get pregnant and the first time I got pregnant was the first time I ever did anything. Why am I having so much trouble now? This is really frustrating. We want a baby so bad, We've tried just about everything. The doctor said that nothing is wrong with either of us, so why is it taking so long. All the other women in my family get pregnant so easily. Like my sister she was trying to get pregnant last year and after 1 month she was pregnant. Do you have any advice?

Hon Im sorry to hear of that horrible thing that happend to you years ago! I wish I could give you advise as to the length of time before conception, DH and I have not yet been trying for over 6 mo but I feel we will be we are on our 3rd mo and no real signs in my mind that this is the month. I know how you must feel because of the other children he already has. My situation is the opposite I have a 7 year old soon to be 8 in november with her father the first time I got pregnant was in two month of being with him sadly I had MC but was preg with my daughter within another couple of months. Now this time around im 28 and DH is 38 he never has had any children not even unplanned accidents so I start to worry that maybe the issues are with him. All I can say is take one day at a time and try not to stress to much untill you are beyond a year of trying! I just have to belive when its the right time it will happen this is what keeps me sane! I hope you get your BFP soon!
