Since I'm getting a job...I was wondering what everyone does for a living??? It is kind of a person question so only answer if you wanna...or perhaps just the line of employment...not necessarily the place or anything.

I have been a full time stay at home mommy for 14 years. I have had a few jobs here and there but nothing much. I am getting a job at a doctor's office being a medical receptionist. I start on November 27 and I can't wait. Last job I had was working in the ER at a hospital in admitting. Before that I worked at a bank as a teller.

I am a SAHM for going on 16 years now.

Denise- my last job that I had was as a bank teller, then I had my son and I quit.

Actually this past August I did start driving school van. I did that for 2 months but then I got preg. and it was too much for me because I also have 2 children at home that I homeschool and I could not keep up. My DH says that I really don't want to work and that is sooooo true!!

I am in cancer research but if I get pregnant I am thinking about being a stay-at-home mom especially since my commute is so long.

I raise hogs and cattle. Lots of them. 40,000 pigs a year. It allows me to be a SAHM though.

We had a mole in our basement a couple of months ago. My cat caught it. Then a week later one was found dead in my goat's water trough. I could not believe that I saw two dead ones in one week. I think they were on the move! LOL

I am jealous! I grew up farming and want to go back. We have a hobby farm but I want to go back to full time farming.

I am in the education/psychology/social work field. My dream job is to have my own farm and grow crops and raise animals, however. But I live in Connecticut and there aren't really any farms around here. If I had my way, we'd be living down south or out west; I'm sick of it here!

What kind of hobby farm? I also raise exotic miniature cattle, mini zebu cattle. They are great for small farms. You can see my website of my cute critters at www.kinionminizebu.com.

Come on to Iowa, we'd be glad to have you!!! Cost of living is pretty cheap here too with plenty of employment jobs.

I like your website. The mini zebu cattle are adorable!
As for our hobby farm we only have pygmy goats and we will be getting chickens in the spring. I am hoping to get a jersey cow or two someday soon.

I am a self employed photographer. Currently I only do on location shots but occasionally use my church for indoor shots. We're building a house so my studio will be in my house. I hope to someday purchase a building.
